“I met Joy through some of our mutual photographer friends and we quickly became friends. She second shot for me few times since and every time all my clients had only good things to say about her and I always felt like I have a friend to calm me down when things start getting to me too much.
Since then she's also done photos of me and my boyfriend Dan. Honestly, I am the least photogenic person ever ( literally the reason why I am a photographer lol ) but I absolutely love the photos and for the first time in my life I didn't feel like looking at a photo was purely for me to start checking for all the things i hate about my appearance and instead I was seeing beautiful photos of two people very much in love, living the life. I honestly had so much fun and I love love love those photos and will cherish them forever.
Look i shouldn't be saying it because if you listen to me it means you won't book me, but seriously, book Joy. She is grand. And way too cheap for how good she is too :) “

I had a photoshoot with my boyfriend Lou taken by the wonderful Joy recently.
Joy always makes it a fun time during photoshoots (I've had multiple photoshoots with Joy in the past) and there is never a shortage of laughs. Not only does Joy make it fun, I am always comfortable and feel good within myself during our photoshoots.
Lou (my partner) was hesitant at first and abit nervous as he doesn't normally have professional shoots done, but instantly he felt at ease with Joy and actually really enjoyed the process and felt good about himself.
The photos Joy produces are absolutely brilliant and of extremely high quality.
Would 100% recommend Joy for any shoots you intend to do xx

Maternity & Family

I recently had the pleasure of Joy photographing me for maternity photoshoot. From the beginning Joy’s communication was fantastic, suggesting ideas for the location and theme of the photoshoot and understood my desire to have tasteful (and especially not cheesy) pregnancy photos. On the day Joy was brilliant, she put me at complete ease in front of the camera, allowing me to just be natural in the environment as well as providing great subtle prompts for some poses or places to look.
We had a great laugh on the day, the whole time I felt relaxed, confident and really encouraged by Joy and the results absolutely took my breath away. I’m absolutely overjoyed with the photographs and that my pregnancy has been immortalised in such beautiful, elegant photographs.
I cannot recommend Joy enough and I will certainly booking her to be my wedding photographer. She’s incredibly talented at what she does, highly professional whilst remaining really personable, down to earth and fun to be around. Book her!! You won’t be disappointed.
