The Overall Process
-
After the booking form is received I will usually get back to you within 48 hours.
We will connect and discuss your wedding requirements either by video call. This can be via WhatsApp or Zoom.
Then a contract and invoice will be sent, once the contract is returned & the deposit of £350 is paid, your date will be secured!
-
Around this time you will receive an email from me regarding any final payments which will be due 6 weeks before your wedding date.
Plus you will receive a questionnaire regarding the timeline of your wedding day, group photos and other basic details.
Then we will then firm up the wedding photography timings and requirements typically via another video call as it may have been a while since we last spoke properly.
-
At this time I will confirm all the details to check if there have been any last minute changes.
Plus, it is also an opportunity for any last minute questions.

Then your full wedding photographs will be delivered in approximately 6 -8 weeks unless you have opted for fast-track delivery.
You will receive a link where you can access your wedding gallery digitally and download high-res & web-res versions of your photographs.

If your package does not come with an album or prints included.
Do not worry! You can purchase them through your wedding gallery!
I like to offer my clients the opportunity to have their photographs printed at a premium grade, so I have hand selected my favourite professional grade suppliers for print products.
However, if this is not for you that’s fine, you may print your photos if desired through your favourite high street suppliers.
FAQ’s
What happens if we want a second shooter?
Recommended for larger weddings or for weddings with lots of different special moments happening. Or, if you just want double the coverage, more angles and more memories to keep forever!
How does it work? I source another professional photographer who will second shoot on the big day. All photographs are professionally edited by myself.
How do travel expenses work?
Travel within a 50 mile radius is covered within my packages. Then for weddings outside of this distance there is a cost per additional mile. Plus, if accommodation is required or a different mode of transport this will be added as travel expenses.
Do you have back ups, and how do you make sure our photos are safe?
I shoot all weddings on two cameras, each camera I shoot straight onto two SD cards so immediately have back ups of photographs.
To all weddings I bring a number of lenses, batteries and SD cards to make sure if anything fails or runs out, I have a back up or spare.
Then immediately after the wedding I transfer all the photos to two hard drives, plus I keep at least one of the SD cards from each camera with all the photographs until delivery.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, I do have insurance!
Do you edit all of the photos?
Yes, each and every photo delivered will be edited by myself. Editing is a huge part of the job as a wedding photographer. I will never deliver or provide RAW or unedited photographs.
What happens if we change our wedding date?
If you need to change your wedding date I will happily switch days with no extra charge as long as it is available. Otherwise my cancellation policy will apply and I will be happy to help you find an alternative photographer.
Can we print our own photographs?
Yes of course you can!
I offer prints and albums of a professional premium quality, but I understand I might gush over these things more than you.
My personal belief is it is always nice to have prints and albums and I’m more than happy if you decided to do this yourself.
Can you help us plan our timeline?
Yes absolutely! If you are unsure of how best to time things I can certainly help you work this out so that the day can run as smoothly as possible.
What happens if it rains?
You cannot control the weather and particularly in the UK we expect rainy weather throughout the whole year. Overall I say we make the most of the day, plan around it and utilise the space in the venue as much as possible. Then particularly if it’s heavier rain and later in the day or you have a second outfit, I say if you’re up for it, let’s go in the rain and get some fantastic photographs.
What if I have ongoing medical or mobility issues that might affect me on the day, how do you approach this?
This is always a very personal topic, but I encourage you to discuss this with me if you feel it will impact the day or it just makes you a little nervous in general. We can make individual plans that work for you and it will mean I won’t accidentally ask you to move in a way that isn’t possible or comfortable for you.
Do you have any requests from us?
If you are having a DJ or evening music please hold back on having laser lights while I’m photographing.
I only ask this because they can permanently damage my camera sensor. If this happens I would no longer be able to use this camera, I would also not risk damaging my second camera. So if your music vender or venue are supplying the evening lighting, just check beforehand and ask them to not include laser lights in their set up until after I have left.
